Japan update!

So I have been in Japan now for five days and its has been amazing so far. We have Japanese class every morning to try and pick up some basic language so we can communicate to others that do not really speak English.

I have had some interesting experiences…. First day I walk into my room to change for bed and there is a cockroach sitting on my hair straightener on my desk! needless to say it was very hard trying to fall asleep as I kept thinking something was crawling on me. I finally fell asleep about 4am and was very tired already from jet lag.

Second interesting experience- we all got bikes to ride around and have easy access to the city and as we were on our way to karaoke one night I hit a bump or curve or something and my bike went straight into a wall. My right arm was all scrapped up. i ended up hitting my stomach on the handle bars which broke my belly button ring and punctured my skin.

on the other hand am a very efficient person and have already found gifts for my sister and my mother! :) yay.

I am currently eating ramen out of a Pokemon cup and i fell pretty special :)

I arrived today in Japan. Leaving on sep. 6th at 6 pm and we are in Japan which is sep 8th and is now 730am. So basically we did two days of traveling in 18 hours! Crazy stuff!

So far all the flights have been nice and there have been no complications. I got held up at the Japan security check because of a small nail file, scissor kit thing, which is kinda like an army knife but without the knife in it. But because it was sharp they had to confiscate it. Now I know what it is like to have someone talking to you and you have no idea what they are saying, it is an interesting feeling.

The toilets are very strange here in Japan, they have all these settings and when you sit down to use the toilet it starts playing this like waterfall like sound or water just flowing, to create a kind of peace or something I am not sure, it really freaked me out at first, was not expecting any sound to come from the toilet.

Also it is very customary for if you have a cold or anything to wear a face mask to prevent the risk of it spreading to others. They seem to be very conscious of health here in Japan.

Lastly I have successfully ordered my first bowl of noodles! Yay it was super delicious and I am excited to get to ehime and go grocery shopping and trying all these different foods! Should be a good Trip! :)

It has been amazing so far! Meeting all the actors and talking to people and everyone has been so nice! I will give a full update when it is all over!! :)

Ambushed!

you know that feeling when your told you cant do something because your to old and its very upsetting…then come to find out people older or same age as you get to and yet you dont and you are ambushed in the middle of it and you realize it because no one talked to you about and there all super excited for it….

Yea that was me tonight…Holding it together until i got into my car and then it all went down hill from there. It went from being a great day at competition to one of the worst days. AHHHH its going to be a long week and now I need to get over it so that I can kick butt at Tremaine this year because well last year at Tremaine my costume fell off part way through the dance and I was flashing the audience for like a minute..needless to say it didn’t go over so well…Worst week to find this out.. :(

So this morning I woke up and got ready like any other day.. Outside my house there is a crosswalk, because it is right across from a middle school. So I managed to see this person, he was all dressed in black and it was still early so it was dark outside. So I see him and I stop to let him go across the crosswalk.. however the person on the other side of the road.. either didn’t see the guy walking or what, but you would think if I am stopped on the other side of the crosswalk, there is a good reason… Anyway so the guy in his blue car continued to speed towards the crosswalk, where I realized he might not stop… luckily the guy crossing the crosswalk realizing the same thing, jumped back out of the way right as he was in the middle of the crosswalk and the guy in the blue car swerved the other direction and just stalled there for a few minutes, probably processing that he almost killed a person… What I still do not get is why the guy didn’t figure out why I was just stopped, because you do not stop in the middle of the road for no reason, and right in front of a crosswalk. That was adventure number 1.

Number 2 of the morning. So I am a morning nanny and I go and make lunches and take the kids to school, etc. But I was taking the older boy Grant to school this morning and there is the line of cars that go and drop of the kids. so you just pull in and go. So I was following this black suv down to the drop off point and we pull in where the black card decided it was going to back up.. Why in the world would you decided to pull in and back up in the loading zone at a school right before school starts is beyond me. I was paying close attention to this car and when it was a sec from hitting my car I honked on my horn and the guy stopped. I still do not know why they needed to back up, but a loading zone in rush hour school traffic is not the way to go. There are dozens of parents and nanny’s bringing children to school. That was my almost accident of the day….. so you could this morning started out with a bang! with crazy stupid drivers!

So in my physics series we have this one professor his name is Abian! I have no idea why but I hate his voice, as soon as he starts speaking my brain shuts down and I do anything not to listen to his annoying scraggly voice. He isn’t that great of a teacher, he is only in charge of labs, but still that is 4 hours of my life I am never going to get back. He is currently subbing because my real teacher has seemed to disappear and it consisted of going over slides that we already covered on Monday because we have a test tomorrow and he said it was review, but come on get your own fricken slides, and not go over the same thing. He is Crazy!

So in the past it has been brought to my attention that bad things happen to me in threes. First thing this week was my rings went missing. but there may be hope, a detective left a card at my home address and my class ring has my full name in it, if someone turned it in to the police then they could have looked up my address. Which I am hoping because I can not find my rings anywhere and I have no idea where they went. Second thing was I went sliding into a curb yesterday morning. Third thing was this morning I had a conversation with my boss because I was not put on any of the lessons schedule this month and so I was like wtf… Apparently people were requesting me not to be there instructor and apparently it was a lot… But this doesn’t make any sense because I did not teach in December and I was barely teaching before that and when I was teaching I got good feedback. This is all very confusing and It did not make me happy.

And all this snow! I have not seen my boy since Thursday and I never really got to spend time with him because he was helping fix the fence. It has been hard this year. A lot of stuff has happened and I am left to deal with crazy ex girlfriends, over protective mothers, and an over emotional sister.

You see also this year at dance things have changed. i am not longer allowed to take other classes besides ballet because I am an adult. I am hoping to make the Seagals team and that will replace my need to perform. But it still has been hurting and my mother and sister don’t understand. They think that it is so easy for me because I stayed and wanted to keep dancing. But for me it is dance, I love it, if I could I would just dance forever but i am not that good.

Hello,

So one of my good friend from work has been rambling about Tumblr for a while. she finally convinced one of my other good friends to get one and so then they both were like get one! Apparently I will become addicted and I am not sure yet but we shall see. So these past couple of days it has been hard. I have boy issues, mother issues, and now I can not find my rings which were all given to me by family member’s and am kind of freaking out! I am going to look everywhere and I am determined to find them! wish me luck!
